Google is all about helping us out. So when we come to search for things it suggests things that it thinks are related to what you’re looking for. Most of the time these are constructed out of previous searches by others. But sometimes it all gets a bit weird. Filmschoolrejects decided to see what Google – in particular, its image search function – thought about when we look for famous movie directors. Here’s a few examples:
Stanley Kubrick (assassinated, self portrait, moon landing)
Martin Scorsese (cat, Hugo, eyebrows)
Alfred Hitchcock (silhouette, cameos, blonde, belly button)
