Design firm P-06 Atelier collaborated with architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça to create a stunning surrounding space for the Pavilion of Knowledge in Lisbon. Dubbed SKIN, the moveable walls in the interactive science and economy museum have symbols, typography and patterns cut into them. The walls also contain the American Standard Code for Information Interchange. The ease at which light and sound can pass through the walls is an analogy for the museum’s intention of sharing information.
