Kevin Bauman’s photo essay looks at the less glamorous side of worship. His series ‘Small Churches’ focuses particularly on the small, almost inconspicuous specimens in small town America. Away from the towering spires and super churches cropping up in the US and elsewhere, the churches here are unimpressive specimens physically, but still just as important to those who attend them.
