One of our favourite books sitting in Apowl HQ is Margoiles’ “Roadside America”, an ode to the amazing creativity small businesses put into developing street signs to attract customers. We’ve just spotted this beautiful photo series by Shakes The Clown over on Flickr further illustrating our point: these retro signs are a work of art in themselves.
