If you’re wondering why politicians and other famous types are all sodding off to Japan at the moment, here’s why. Every year, Japan’s cherry blossom trees start to bloom creating a beautiful display, which, thanks to Flickr user m.ishikawa we can now see in full. There are around 800 cherry trees planted along the Meguro River in the Meguro District of Tokyo, not to mention lots of other spots around the city and farther afield in which to enjoy the blooms.
