Photographer Harry Kaufman has recently finished a project documenting the huge upheaval and overhaul being under taken by China’s developers. With large, towering structures in the background, and crumbling ancient homes in the foreground, it neatly sums up the country’s shift away from its past to a glittering, capitalist-esq future.
