Made using images taken by the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer on NASA’s Terra satellite, the video shows the huge growth of Dubai over the past 11 years – with the Palm Islands appearing seemingly from nowhere, as well as The World, a constellation of islands resembling planet Earth.
